3 Steps To

Bold Brows

Do you have eyebrows? Then it’s time to step away from the tweezers, and embrace them. A fuller look feels fresh, looks natural, and is easy to achieve—regardless of whether you need to tame or rehab your (possibly over-plucked) brows.  Here are our top tips to give every set of eyebrows their defining moment.  And keep telling yourself: more is more.

Lay Off The Tweezers.

As a rule, keep tweezing to a minimum, and only tweeze the major outliers. What qualifies? It can be tricky to tell. So before you pluck, define and groom every hair with Just Browsing Brush-On Styling Mousse. This trick is especially good for those with light brows. Once the mousse is dry, pluck any hairs that don't fall in line with the overall shape of your brows.

Choose The Right Color.

Eyebrows shouldn’t exactly match the color of the hair on your head. If you have light locks (blonde, red, or light brown), go one shade deeper to bring more definition to your face. If you have dark hair (dark brown and black), go one shade lighter for the same effect. Try SuperFine Liner for Brows, which comes in five shades.

Understand Brow Architecture.

Before you fill in your brows, map out the perfect shape. Hold a brow pencil parallel to the side of your nose, and draw a dot. Next, hold the bottom of the pencil in place, and tilt the top to align with your pupil—this dot is the highest point of your arch. To find where your brows should end, pivot the pencil to line up with the outer corner of your eye. Draw another mark, and connect the dots using the Pretty Easy Brow Palette
